CLASSES

Karate Tots
(ages 3-4)

The Karate Tots program is specifically designed for children between the ages of 3 and 4 years old. This program focuses on introducing young children to the basic principles of karate in a fun and engaging way. In these 30-minute classes, children will learn basic martial arts movements such as punches, kicks, and blocks, while also developing their coordination, balance, and listening skills. The classes are taught by experienced instructors who are trained to work with young children and provide a supportive and encouraging environment. The Karate Tots program aims to build self-confidence, discipline, and focus in young children, while also promoting physical fitness and socialization skills. By participating in this program, children will gain a strong foundation in martial arts that will prepare them for future karate classes and other physical activities.

Little Ninjas
(ages 5-6)

The Little Ninjas program is designed for children between the ages of 5 and 6 years old. This program builds upon the skills and principles taught in the Karate Tots program, while also introducing new techniques and concepts. In these 30-minute classes, children will continue to learn basic martial arts movements such as punches, kicks, and blocks, but at a more advanced level. They will also learn new skills such as falling and rolling, basic self-defense techniques, and how to work with a partner. The classes are taught by experienced instructors who are trained to work with young children and provide a supportive and encouraging environment. The Little Ninjas program aims to build self-confidence, discipline, and focus in young children, while also promoting physical fitness and socialization skills. By participating in this program, children will continue to develop a strong foundation in martial arts that will prepare them for future karate classes and other physical activities.

Youth Beginner
(ages 7-13)

The Youth Beginner program is designed for children between the ages of 7 and 13 years old who are new to karate. In these one-hour classes, students will learn the basics of Shotokan karate, including stances, strikes, blocks, kicks, and footwork. They will also learn how to perform basic kata, or forms, and participate in partner drills to develop their self-defense skills. The classes are taught by experienced instructors who are trained to work with children and provide a supportive and encouraging environment. The Youth Beginner program aims to build self-confidence, discipline, and focus in young students, while also promoting physical fitness and self-defense skills. Intermediate (ages 7-13/ Blue-Black Test):

Intermediate

The Intermediate program is designed for students who have completed the Youth Beginner program and have advanced to the blue or black belt level. In these one-hour classes, students will continue to build upon the techniques and skills they learned in the Youth Beginner program, while also learning new techniques such as throws and joint locks. They will also learn more complex kata and participate in sparring drills to develop their self-defense skills. The classes are taught by experienced instructors who are trained to work with intermediate-level students and provide a challenging and supportive environment. The Intermediate program aims to build self-confidence, discipline, and focus in young students, while also preparing them for more advanced karate classes.

Adult Karate
(ages +14)

The Adult Karate program is designed for students who are 14 years of age or older and who are interested in learning Shotokan karate. In these one-hour classes, students will learn the basics of Shotokan karate, including stances, strikes, blocks, kicks, and footwork. They will also learn how to perform kata and participate in partner drills to develop their self-defense skills. The classes are taught by experienced instructors who are trained to work with adults and provide a supportive and challenging environment. The Adult Karate program aims to build self-confidence, discipline, and focus in adult students, while also promoting physical fitness and self-defense skills. The program is suitable for adults of all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced martial artists.
